Kick or Treat

Boasting well over 100 teams each year for the last 3 years, the longest running and original Kick or Treat, the Kick or Treat Tournament is a firm favorite. Offering Bronze and Copper teams the opportunity to play in a fun soccer tournament in amazing surroundings.


GENERAL INFORMATION

Fremont YSC is pleased to announce the Kick or Treat Tournament, held in beautiful Fremont, California. The Kick or Treat Tournament is tailored for U9-U19 Boys and Girls Bronze and Copper teams to help maximize their season. This tournament is sanctioned by US Club.

Central Park Soccer Complex – 1110 Stevenson Blvd, Fremont, CA

Hopkins Jr. High School – 600 Driscoll Road, Fremont, CA

WHO
U9-U19 Boys and Girls competitive teams.

LEVEL OF PLAY

This tournament is aimed at BRONZE & COPPER teams.


COSTUME CONTEST 

All teams are highly encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to this tournament. We will be having a costume contest where the winner will win free admission to our 2021 Kick or Treat tournament.

  • Teams will submit a picture of the team to the tournament twitter account: @FremontKoT
  • The winner of the costume contest will be announced the day following the event

Costume Guidelines and Policies:

  • Teams are encouraged to wear their costumes during their tournament games. Please make sure that all costumes are comfortable and conducive to playing 3-4 soccer games in a weekend
  • Please take into consideration safety regulations – make sure all costumes do not have any harmful objects that could hurt the player or an opponent
  • Uniform numbers are not required for costumes but please make sure to input all uniform numbers onto the tournament roster

TOURNAMENT VENDORS

Fremont Youth Soccer Club has partnered with EventConnect for the upcoming tournament season as its official and exclusive tournament management and accommodations provider. EventConnect has worked very closely with the Tournament and local hotels to provide the best options on amenities, value, and location. We please ask that teams use the hotels provided through this software as they help support our tournament.

For Team Reps, please do not hesitate to contact the EventConnect Travel Team Coordinators by email via teamsupport@eventconnect.io  These Coordinators will work with your team to find the best options from the available options once your team is in the accommodations system. For general inquiries, the EventConnect Support Team is available to take our calls at 1-888-723-2064.

Harbor Photography will be taking photos of the live action on the first day of tournament play. On the second day, teams will be able to purchase their pictures at the Harbor Photography Booth


TOURNAMENT FORMAT 

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

U9-U10 Boys and Girls teams play 7-a-side and may carry up to 14 players on their roster.

U11-U12 Boys and Girls teams play 9-a-side and may carry up to 16 players on their roster.

U13-U17 Boys and Girls teams play 11-a-side and may carry up to 18 players on their roster.

  • All games will be start and end with an Air Horn. 

GUEST PLAYERS

Guest players are allowed;

U9-U12 – Maximum 5 Players

U13-U17 – Maximum 7 Players

Guest Players from the same club: For these players, the player must be added to the tournament roster and the team must have a valid laminated player pass and medical release form on hand for the player

Guest Players from a different club: For these players, the player must be added to the tournament roster and the team must have a valid laminated player pass and medical release form on hand for the player. In addition, the team must have a player loan form on hand that is signed by an authorized representative from both clubs.


COMMUNICATIONS

Each team is required to have an e-mail address and a designated team contact in order to receive all tournament communications. All communication will be carried out via e-mail and the internet.

Parking at Central Park can be found at the designated parking spots shown on the map above. Additional parking is available across the street at the California School for the Deaf located at 39350 Galluadet Drive, Fremont, CA 94538

Hopkins Jr. High School – 600 Driscoll Road, Fremont, CA

Parking at Hopkins Jr. High can be found at the following locations:

41401 Mission Blvd, Fremont, CA – Parking on Mission next to the basketball and tennis courts

41717 Palm Avenue, Fremont, CA – Parking at Mission San Jose High School – This is the biggest parking lot of the 3 and will likely have open spots throughout the duration of the tournament.

U9-U12 – $599

U13-U19 – $650

Please make sure you inform us of which team the check is for when sending it in.

** Please fill in the on line application fully. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
** If you can not pay on line you still have to register on line and then send in your check.
** Teams will not be eligible for acceptance until the registration fee has been received.
** Any team not accepted will receive a refund.
** Any team which withdraws after the application deadline of (October 1st) will not be eligible for a refund.
