New Course – February 2020
US Soccer have a new structure for referee classes, with the majority of the education now taking place online, with 1 practical session following the completion of the online modules.
On field module will take place:
- Thursday, February 20th, Central Park Soccer Complex
- 6pm to 9pm
- Please arrive 15 min early to check in. Bring, water, running shoes, and athletic attire.

In order to get paid, you MUST have a W9 on file. Click here to download the W9 form.
All referees will continue to receive their payments via GOPay, a service offered by GameOfficials. By going with GOPay you will be able to sign up for games and manage your payments on one system with one log-on. GOPay provides referees with the ability to elect a direct deposit to their bank account free of charge or GOPay will mail you a check for the amount earned minus a $3 transaction fee for each check payment.
If you already have a GOPay account through another club (e.g. Mustang), no action is required on your part and the Fremont YSC payments will go into your existing account.
If you do not already have a GOPay account, the following is how you sign up. After logging into Game officials, select the Personal Info menu. Next Select the “My Payments” link which will allow you to view your payments and account balance as well as set up a payment preference to determine when funds are to be transferred.
In the upper right side of the window is a link to GOPay training videos that will help you set up your GOPay account. GOPay can be configured to transfer funds automatically whenever they are received, or when the balance reaches a certain amount, or periodically, and so on. You may also choose to do manual transfers.

Getting Paid
All Referees are required to have a W-9 form on file with the club in order to get paid. The good news is if you received year-end tax information from Fremont YSC in the past your W-9 is already on file. If you are new to Fremont YSC (or have never submitted a W9 form), please complete the attached W-9 form and send it to the club address below.
If you don’t have a W-9 on file, you will see the following status message when GOPay processes your first payment “Admin Hold (No Tax Info On File)”. If you get the ‘Admin Hold’ status message, fill out the W-9 form (see above) and send it the address below.
